Kunhalikutty's kin held in fake currency case

Nadakkavu police on Wednesday held IUML leader P K Kunhalikutty's
relative and industrialist KM Abdul Rauf in a fake currency case. Police
earlier arrested two persons in connection with the case. Police
conducted raids at Rauf's office and home.

the brutal attack on college lecturer, T J Joseph, whose right hand had

Madani's security can be questioned if Karnataka demands: DGP

Kozhikode twin blasts: Shammi Firoz turns approver

The NIA special court has declared Shammi Firoz, accused in the
Kozhikode twin blasts case, as an approver. The NIA has not objected his
request to turn an approver. The Court also asked Shammi not to
socialise with other accused and destroy the evidence.

Lecturer attack: Probe extends to Thejas daily

As per the information given by the accused in the Muvattupuzha lecturer
attack case, the probe has been extended to Thejas daily too. The
police diverted the probe route to the daily as some of the accused used
mobile number registered in the name of the daily. When quizzed the
editor of the daily this regard, he replied that all such things are
related to the management.

held. He told police that there were 7 persons in the group.

New born sold for Rs 5000 in SAT hospital

A new born baby was sold for Rs 5000 at the Thiruvananthapuram SAT
hospital and later the mother took her back. The mother from Kadakkal
sold the new born with the help of a temporary employee.
